INDICATIONS

• Poultry (chickens, ducks, quails):
  • Fowl cholera and fowl typhoid
  • Colibacillosis (E. coli infections)
  • Salmonellosis and pullorum disease
  • Chronic Respiratory Disease (CRD) and mycoplasma infections
  • Green or white feces diarrhea and staphylococcal infections.
• Pigs:
  • E. coli infections, including enterotoxemia (edema disease) and white scours in piglets
  • Salmonellosis
  • Streptococcus infections
  • Mycoplasma pneumonia and pleuropneumonia
  • Infectious rhinitis.
• Cows (calves) and small ruminants (sheep, goats):
  • Urinary tract infections (e.g., cystitis, pyelonephritis)
  • Respiratory system infections
  • Gastroenteritis and enteritis-diarrhea. 

ADMINISTRATION

• Mixing with Water: The powder is typically dissolved in a specific volume of drinking water according to the dosage instructions provided by a veterinarian or the product label.
• Mixing with Feed: In some cases, the powder can be mixed into the animal’s feed. 
• Dosage: The specific dose varies depending on the animal’s weight, species (poultry, pigs, calves, etc.), and the severity of the infection.
• Preparation: The medicated water should be used immediately after mixing and any leftover medicated water discarded after the treatment period.
• Hydration: Animals receiving Norfloxacin should be well-hydrated. Ensuring consistent access to the medicated water is crucial for effective treatment.
