INDICATIONS
- Growth Promotion and Feed Efficiency: It is used as a feed additive to enhance protein assimilation, improve the feed conversion ratio (FCR), and accelerate weight gain in pigs and young cattle.
- Gastrointestinal Health:
- Pig Dysentery: Effective in controlling and preventing dysentery in piglets.
- Bacterial Enteritis: Used to lower the frequency of enteritis caused by susceptible Gram-negative bacteria such as E. coli and Salmonella spp..
- Colibacillosis: Indicated for the treatment of infections caused by Escherichia coli.
- Respiratory Infections: Used in the prevention and treatment of pneumonia and pasteurellosis in pigs and young cattle.
- Reproductive Health: Indicated for the prevention of MMA syndrome (Mastitis-Metritis-Agalactia) in sows.
ADMINISTRATION
- Mixing with Dry Feed: The most common method is thoroughly mixing the powdered premix into the daily rations of the animals.
- Water Application (Alternative): In some cases, the drug can be dissolved in water, but the solution must typically be consumed within 24 hours to remain effective.
