Avian Influenza H5N1 Vaccine

HARVAC Biological Avian Influenza H5N1 is indicated for the active immunization of poultry to against disease caused by the H5N1 subtype of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI). A WVA Veterinary Medicine.

HARVAC Biological Avian Influenza H5N1 Vaccine is indicated for the active immunisation of poultry against Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI).

INDICATIONS

Target Species: It is specifically used in chickens, ducks, and geese.
Disease Prevention: Indicated for the prevention or reduction of mortality, clinical signs of disease, and viral shedding (excretion) caused by H5N1 subtype infection.
Immune Response: Designed to induce high levels of haemagglutination inhibition (HI) antibody titers to provide protective immunity against circulating H5N1 strains.

ADMINISTRATION

Subcutaneous Injection: This is the most common method, usually applied at the back of the neck. The needle is inserted just under the skin in a straight line with the neck, away from the head.
Intramuscular Injection: The vaccine can also be injected into the thigh or breast muscles. For breast injections, a 45 degree angle is recommended to avoid accidental internal organ injury.
