Boehringer’s ReoGuard L vaccine is indicated for healthy chickens two weeks of age or older against tenosynovitis caused by avian reovirus.
INDICATIONS
- Target Disease: This vaccine is specifically effective against tenosynovitis resulting from reovirus infection.
- Target Animal: It is designed for use in healthy chickens.
- Age Requirement: Chickens should be two weeks of age or older at the time of vaccination.
- Vaccine Strain: It contains the mild 1133 strain of avian reovirus, which is a live virus component used to stimulate an immune response.
ADMINISTRATION
- Drinking Water (Pouring Application): Reconstitution in non-chlorinated water mixed with non-fat dry milk to stabilize the vaccine.
- Drinking Water (Proportioner Application): Using a commercial medicator or proportioner to deliver the vaccine concentrate through the water system.
