Eimeria adenoeides vaccine is indicated for the active immunization of healthy turkeys to prevent coccidiosis caused by E. adenoeides and E. meleagrimitis.
INDICATIONS
- Target Species: Healthy turkeys (1 day old or older).
- Disease Prevention: Protects against coccidiosis, a major gut disease in turkeys.
- Specific Parasites: Targets Eimeria adenoeides, Eimeria meleagrimitis, and Eimeria gallopavonis.
- Proactive Control: Provides early, controlled exposure to live parasites to build immunity, reducing reliance on anticoccidials and improving bird health/efficiency.
ADMINISTRATION
- Spray Cabinet (Hatchery):
- Administered to day-old poults.
- Vaccine is diluted with clean tap water and sprayed evenly over the birds in a controlled cabinet.
- This ensures uniform delivery and ingesting of live oocysts.
- Feed Spray:
- Vaccine is diluted and sprayed onto the surface of the feed.
- Birds peck at the dyed feed, ingesting the vaccine.
