Eimeria praecox vaccine is indicated for active immunization of chickens to aid in the control and reduction of clinical signs and lesions associated with coccidiosis.
INDICATIONS
HIPRACOX Live Vaccine is indicated for the active immunization of broiler chicks to reduce the effects of Coccidiosis. the vaccine helps to reduce:
- Intestinal colonization
- Intestinal lesions
- Clinical signs of Coccidiosis
These effects are caused by the following five species of Eimeria parasites present in the vaccine’s composition:
- Eimeria acervulina
- Eimeria maxima
- Eimeria mitis
- Eimeria praecox
- Eimeria tenella
ADMINISTRATION
Drinking Water:
- Withhold drinking water from the chicks for 2-4 hours prior to vaccination to ensure they are thirsty.
- Use supplementary drinkers (mini-drinkers) that are clean and have no chemical residue.
- Shake the vaccine vial vigorously before opening.
- Administer one dose per chick in the drinking water, ensuring adequate access to the vaccinal water for all birds.
- Use non-chlorinated water for mixing if possible.
Coarse Spray:
- The vaccine is dissolved in a specific diluent (such as UNIFLOCK).
- The vaccine is applied as a coarse spray evenly over the chicks, often using a specialized device.
- This method can be done in the hatchery or on arrival at the farm.
