Bimeda PRO-BAC 2 vaccine is used to protect healthy cattle against against two strains of the Mannheimia haemolytica bacteria.
INDICATIONS
- Target Bacteria: Provides immunization against Mannheimia haemolytica (formerly Pasteurella haemolytica) Type A-1 and A-6.
- Pathogen Protection: Contains inactivated Mannheimia haemolytica leukotoxin and cell-associated antigens to stimulate a strong immune response.
- Administration: 2.0 mL subcutaneous (SQ) injection in the side of the neck.
- Dosage Protocol: Requires a primary dose followed by a second dose 14 days later.
- Adjuvant: Utilizes the proprietary REVEAL ATS™ adjuvant system to help trap endotoxins and optimize antigen presentation.
ADMINISTRATION
Bimeda PRO-BAC 2 is a ready-to-use, inactivated vaccine. A second dose should be given 14 days after the first on the opposite side of the neck.
- Method: Subcutaneous (under the skin) injection only.
- Dosage: 2.0 mL.
- Site: Side of the neck.
- Schedule: Initial dose, followed by a booster 14 days later.
- Precautions: Do not inject into muscle (IM) to avoid carcass trim.
