• Respiratory Tract: Pneumonia, bronchopneumonia, acute and chronic bronchitis, tracheitis, rhinitis, and sinusitis.
• Digestive Tract: Gastritis, enteritis, peritonitis, salmonellosis, and bacillary dysentery.
• Genitourinary System: Nephritis, pyelonephritis, urethritis, urocystitis (bladder infections), and reproductive tract infections such as mastitis, metritis, and prostatitis.
• Skin and Soft Tissue: Dermatitis, cellulitis, subcutaneous abscesses, and postoperative wound infections.
• Bone and Joint: Arthritis, polyarthritis, and osteomyelitis.
• Systemic and Other: Septicemia (blood poisoning), meningitis, and secondary bacterial infections following viral diseases. 

ADMINISTRATION

• Intramuscular (IM) Injection: This is the most common route for general veterinary products.
  • Dosage Example: For certain formulations, the standard dose is 0.25 ml per 10 kg of body weight, administered once every 24 hours.
  • Large Volumes: If the required dose exceeds 10 ml, it is recommended to split the dose and inject into several different sites to minimize discomfort and tissue irritation.
  • Site Management: Common sites include theaxial muscles along the spine or the caudal thigh muscles. The site should be swabbed before injection and rubbed afterward to aid dispersal.
• Intravenous (IV) Infusion: Preferred for severe infections or in clinical settings where rapid blood concentration is required.
  • Method: It is typically administered as a slow infusion or bolus.
  • Species Use: Studies have demonstrated effective IV use in pigs and calves.
